Cooperative Education / Internship Student of
the Year
Application Deadline extended!
The Award
NJCEIA is sponsoring a search for outstanding
co-op / internship students. A cash award of
$300 will be presented to the winners. Students
enrolled at two and four-year degree-granting
institutions are eligible to compete.

We encourage all NJCEIA members to notify their
students and co-op employers about the
scholarship. Please note that more than one
student from each institution can apply.
Eligibility is limited to students who: were/are
enrolled in co-op/internship for at least
one-semester during the spring 2009, summer
2009, fall 2009 and spring 2010.
Criteria for selection:
- Student achievements on
the job (See Student Application Form.)
- Student contributions to the employer (See
Employer/Site Sponsor Form.)
In order to compete for the award, both the
Student Application Form and the Employer /Site
Sponsor Form must
be submitted by the deadline date.
Nomination Instructions and Forms

Both
formats include the student and employer forms.
All completed sets of entries MUST be received
by the college's co-op/internship representative
prior to the April 15 deadline so that they may
be forwarded to the Awards Committee Chair by
April 15, 2010. Late
or incomplete entries will be
disqualified.
The judging process will be completed in May
2010. Winners will be notified by mail and
invited to the June 10 NJCEIA meeting. All
nominators will receive an award announcement
letter upon completion of the judging.
